Settings overview
Morgue's settings open full-screen, with a left sidebar to jump between sections.
Opening Settings
Open Settings from the app (gear / Settings entry). It fills the window; close it to return to your library.
The sections

| Appearance | Light / dark theme, app icon, display options. |
| Library | Export, import, and the library location — see Backup & Restore. |
| Extension | Capture bridge status for the browser extension. |
| AI | Optional AI config and the Google Fonts key. |
| License | Your plan, device, rename, and deactivate. |
| Keys | Keyboard reference — see Keyboard shortcuts. |
Accessibility (high-contrast, reduced motion) isn't a separate tab — Morgue follows your macOS system settings automatically. See Accessibility.
What's saved where
- Preferences (theme, icon, layout) are stored with the app.
- Your content (assets, palettes, folders, tags, boards) lives in your library folder — see Moving your library.
- License details are stored locally after activation.
